The service will last an hour with dessert to follow. All children will join us in the Main Sanctuary. OC Rescue Mission Food Drive Month of December We will be collecting non-perishable food this month to contribute to the food pantry ministry at the Orange County Rescue Mission. You may leave your items in the red bin near the front door. A list of suggested non-perishable foods will be available on the Connection Table. Jr. High & High School Christmas Sweater Party Wednesday December 16th @7pm Jr. Highers and High Schoolers, get your ugliest, dorkiest, most festive Christmas sweater ready for next Wednesday because its Christmas Sweater Party time again and a prize will be awarded for the best sweater! Evangelism Outreach Saturday December 19th at 10am As believers, we have been entrusted with the privilege and responsibility to share the gospel. Scripture says that we are Christ's ambassadors, that God is making His appeal through us on Christ's behalf for all to be reconciled to God. We will meet at the church at 10am for a brief time of training and prayer.  We will then head out to invite our neighbors to Kingsfield. Please sign-up at the Connection Table. Jr. High Ice Skating Day Monday December 21st 2pm-5pm Kingsfield Jr. High Kids, we will be hitting the Ice Palace in Aliso Viejo for some ice skating over Christmas Break! New Service Time Sunday Morning Services 9am  The announcement regarding the upcoming move and service time change may be viewed here We are so thankful for the new, more affordable location that God is opening up for Kingsfield at 23456 Madero in Mission Viejo (a little over 10 minutes from our current building).  Please keep the 'move in' process in prayer. Now that our Conditional Use Permit has been approved, we are praying that our Building Permits will be approved by the city as well. Our tentative timeline is to move in to the new location in the Spring of 2016. In the interim, we will continue meeting at our current location but alongside another church.  Through a Shared Use Agreement, we will save 50% of our current costs related to leasing - this is a great blessing.  In order for this to work, both churches will be moving service times by 1 hour.  We will meet one hour earlier, at 9am.  All other services and meetings will remain unchanged.  Married Couples Retreat January 22 & 23 Married Couples, please save the date on your calendars for our Annual Married Couples Retreat! This is always a great time and an excellent way to strengthen your marriage. We will have the privilege of hearing teaching from Dennis and Donna Davenport from Calvary Chapel of the High Desert. They have been married over 30 years, raised five children and have lots of experience and wisdom to share with us.The retreat will be at the Ayres Hotel in Seal Beach. The cost is $285 and you can begin making small payments now if you choose; $75 non-refundable deposit will hold your spot. At Bridges to Grace, we believe that people can experience growth and new life by working through the healing path God has given us in the Bible. The mission of this biblically-based 12-step program is to call all people to be fully devoted followers of Christ. Our experience and prayer is that you will find healing. Safe Families For Children Our church has an opportunity to partner with Safe Families for Children, a ministry that comes alongside struggling families to show the love and mercy of Christ through tangible ways of support.  There are a number of ways to be involved in this ministry: providing babysitting and/or meals to a family who is housing a child for a short-term stay, providing things like clothing or diapers, allowing a child to stay in your home for a short period of time according to your availability, and most importantly, prayer support for the families and children involved. We are taking sign-ups at the Connection Table for anyone who is interested in attending an informational and training meeting on January 10th. For more information, contact the church office.
